Continuous Learning
Amigdala is a learning organisation, committed to reframing failures and mistakes — in today’s neoliberal and hyper-performative context — as generative spaces for mutual learning and transformation.
As outlined in our values, we strive to cultivate a culture of feedback, and we intentionally design opportunities to reflect on our work through a lens of evaluation and growth. In particular, we implement the following practices:
Retrospective For major projects, we hold a retrospective meeting after the activities are completed. This space allows us to reflect together on what went well and what could be improved, and to share perspectives for the future.
State of the Art Once a year, we hold a dedicated moment where each of us can share personal successes and failures with the rest of the team, receiving feedback in an atmosphere of listening, care, and collective attention.
Amigdala Inside Once a year, we retreat for two days to a remote location, where we revisit our agreements, write new visions, strengthen our relationships, and create space for collective learning.
